Deep covered baker corned beef??

Trying to decide how to make my hubby'south corned beef for st paddy's day and wondering if I could throw some in there w/ some veggies in the microwave and see how information technology comes out?

Thank you, guys (or, girls). I have an opportunity interview Wednesday on the way home from work, and just asked my son if he can make dinner that night, and if he'd desire to make Corned Beef and Cabbage (he's a little wary of trying new things, but more than willing each fourth dimension).
I'll merely have to exist sure when I tell him to put the water and juices 'on the stove,' I say to cascade it in a pot first!! Would detest to come dwelling to a broken DCB, because he placed it on the burner, haha.

GOOD Idea! Also for more flavor, I add some butter to the water/juices mixture, this way the veggies are absorbing more season....

Yep, I was wondering this besides. I normally make information technology in the crock pot and I cook it all 24-hour interval so it comes out prissy & tender, simply I have no thought how long to cook information technology in the oven. DH wanted to cook it in his smoker, but I love the taste of all the spices, then I don't think I'd like it in the smoker.

You take it out & check it. If the fork goes through it easily and so its ready. I made ane terminal dark, 4lbs. took a few hours....HTH

An hr a pound or and so? I need to judge this correctly because I can't put it in until subsequently work and I don't want hungry people sitting effectually at 7:00 waiting for it to cook. Otherwise, I'll just look and do it this weekend. The kids hate information technology anyhow, just it's my favorite meal of the twelvemonth!

Well actually, you are suppossed to let information technology rest afterwards its cooked or it will fall autonomously. So I made mine last night, kept all the juices & tonight put the juices,more water & the veggies in a pot & boil them upwards. They take about xxx-40 minutes, when they are washed Put the corned Beefiness on a newspaper plate, cover with a soaking moisture paper towel & it will heat up moist & tender....HTH
I melt mine at 425.
